Is your super being targeted?

Lead generators are running clickbait ads across social media. They offer free super health checks or promises of better returns and more control.

They look legitimate. They are not.

When someone clicks on these ads, they get a call. A convincing pitch might follow. The result might be that your super is moved out of a highly regulated fund and into something that could have higher fees, less oversight, and more risk.

No one is properly watching over your money. Many people lost their retirement savings this way.

Social media super scams. Stop. Check.

This is what it looks like:

  • a clickbait ad in your social feed offering a free super review or claiming your fund is underperforming.
  • a call from someone you did not contact first. They sound credible.
  • they know things about your situation.
  • promises of faster growth, more control, or exclusive opportunities.
  • urgency. Pressure to decide on the spot.

This is happening right now, to Australians across the country.

Stop. Check. Keep your super in safe hands.
