Preparing staff for redundancy can be difficult for managers, business owners and the HR team. But as your industry super fund, First Super is here to support you and your staff – during both good times and bad.

How First Super can help

Our Redundancy Assist Program help staff who have been made redundant.

We offer support and education to members and non-members about moving into a new job, looking for employment or thinking about retirement. We also offer practical guidance to your staff on looking after themselves, redundancy payments and planning ahead, and how redundancy and super can open doors to the next phase of life.

As part of the program, your local Coordinator can work with you to provide your staff with information, phone-based support, and face-to-face seminars to answer any superannuation questions they may have after being informed of job losses.
