Paying super contributions has never been so easy

First Super’s clearing house, SuperChoice1, is a secure online payment platform.

You can manage all superannuation transactions for all your employees in one place – whether they’re First Super members or not.

This takes the hassle out of making super contributions. Plus, if you have trouble using the platform, our dedicated Employer Services Team are ready to help.

Why use SuperChoice?

  • As a registered First Super employer, it doesn’t cost you anything.

When you register with us, we can send you details about SuperChoice along with your First Super Employer Number.

You’ll need your First Super Employer Number to register with SuperChoice.

Register with SuperChoice

If you have already registered with First Super as an employer, you can sign up for SuperChoice.
You will need your:

  • First Super employer number
  • contact details including mobile number
  • ABN
  • business postal address
  • nominated financial institution account which will be debited or to which any returns will be paid.

You will also need to read the SuperChoice PDS.

Already using a different clearing house?

You may already have a clearing house that you are happy with and you can continue to use that even if you’ve registered with us.

Just remember, you need to pay your contributions by the mandated payment dates.

Keep your records up to date on Super Choice

You can add new employees to Super Choice by:

  • manually entering their details
  • uploading spreadsheets
  • linking with your payroll system.

It’s important for new employees to go through the correct onboarding process before you start paying their super and to use their personal contact details (address, email address and mobile number).

Updating employee contact details

If your employee has personal contact details they want to update, such as change of address or email or mobile number), they need to reach out to their super fund directly for help.

If they’re a member of First Super, they can update their contact details by:

  • Logging into their firstonline account
  • Calling us
  • Speaking to their local coordinator

When your employee leaves your business 

Remember if your employee leaves your business, you can update this information through SuperChoice.    

That’s it! Paying super doesn’t need to be an administrative burden.
