First Super is a double award winner for member communications

First Super has won two 2020 Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) awards at a virtual award ceremony. 

In its 39th year, the awards for “Marketing Excellence” celebrate individuals and organisations Australia-wide who demonstrate success through innovative and effective marketing.  

First Super was the recipient of two state awards for its “Don’t be crazy! Find your lost super” campaign. Recognised in the Loyalty and Retention and Small Budget Marketing categories, CEO Bill Watson says the awards are proof that “small funds can cut through the noise and make a significant difference for members”. 

In just 15 months the “Don’t be crazy! Find your lost super” campaign helped more than 3,000 of our members find millions of dollars in lost super. 

“Getting great results for members is at the heart of everything we do,” says Watson. “We’re proud to win these awards, but more importantly we’re glad to be running effective campaigns that help members actively grow their super balances.”  

First Super was also nominated as a finalist in the Small Budget Marketing category for its member competition campaign, which encouraged members to update their personal details and boost engagement with their super
