WHY you NEED A CLEARING HOUSE?
Government reforms to super, known as SuperStream, require employers with 20 or more employees to:
- make all contribution payments electronically
- submit data and contribution payments on the same day
- ensure data includes mandatory fields.
You can find more information about your SuperStream obligations at www.ato.gov.au.
Employers with 19 or fewer employees can use the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBCH) which is provided free of charge by the Australian Government. You can find information about the SBCH at www.ato.gov.au/sbsc.
Alternatively, download the SuperChoice Product Disclosure Statement and complete the application form to register. Once completed, you can return the form to us by mail at PO Box 666 Carlton South VIC 3053 or scan the form and email to email@example.com or fax to 1300 362 899.
You’ll need the following information:
- Your company details (business name, ABN, address)
- A contact person (name, job title, email address, phone number)
- Your First Super employer number.
Once we’ve received your application, we’ll send you an email containing the details you need to set up the Clearing House Account.
