Annual Members’ Meeting 2022-23
The Annual Members’ Meeting for the financial year 2022-2023 took place on Tuesday 21 November 2023 at 6pm.
Our Independent Director Lisa Marty hosted the meeting, and Co-chair Michael O’Connor provided a Fund update. CEO Bill Watson gave a report on investment performance and an update on Fund activities and outlook for the coming year.
Key updates
- Fund membership had grown by 3,000 members in the 2022/23 year
- The Fund had grown to over $4B in retirement savings for members
- Our personal service model will remain a priority going forward
- We have developed a member services standard which we’ll be asking other industry funds to agree to deliver
- We achieved positive returns for all investment options and outperformed many larger funds
- Our 10-year average returns for our Balanced Accumulation option is 7.88% and 8.37% p.a. for our Balanced Pension option
