Stay alert to super scammers

Corporate regulator ASIC is reporting that fraudsters posing as its representatives are contacting super fund members and offering to help them consolidate super accounts. ASIC is urging Australians to be wary and to never provide personal or banking details in response to unsolicited calls and emails.

How to know it’s a scam

ASIC will never call members to consolidate super, and it doesn’t allow others to use its logo or its employees’ names to push financial products or services.
